    MVC Tournament

    The votes are in and the seedings are as follows:

    1. UNI
    2. Missouri State
    3. Wichita State
    4. Creighton
    5. Drake
    6. Southern Illinois

    The tournament begins Thursday at Creighton. The Shocks play Southern Illinois at 6pm, followed by Creighton and Drake at 8pm. The 6pm winner plays Missouri State on Friday at 4pm with the Creighton/Drake winner playing UNI at 6pm. Championship match is Saturday at 3pm.

    Time to prove on the court who has the best student athletes and best coaches. Doesn't matter what we say or think. Shox mental toughness and athletic ability will be what counts on Thursday - Friday and Saturday. Enjoy each moment! Wish I was there.

      What happened in the Spring when WSU was the 3 Seed going into the Tournament?

          Happy Thanksgiving Shocker Players, Coaches, Staff and Fans.

          I'm sure we will finish the weekend with much to be thankful for. Hopefully, that will include 3 more VB wins.

                25-15, 25-27, 25-23, 25-19

                The Shocks play Missouri State Friday at 4pm.

                  25-14, 26-24, 25-22

                  Creighton plays UNI in the 6pm match on Friday.

                    A CU-WSU final would be fun. However I want to beat UNI this year.

                      Either way, there should be some serious motivation.

                      In fact, With MSU directly in front of them, the Shocks should have little trouble getting fired up from this point forward.

                        15-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-22, 12-15.

                        The Shocks play the UNI-Creighton winner at 3pm tomorrow. The telecast is on Channel 34 on Cox Cable in Wichita.

                        The championship match appearance would seem to assure the Shocks of a spot in the NCAAs.

                        The chances for Missouri State to make the tournament seem dim, and Coach seemed almost sad in the post-game (that our victory put them in that position?). He has expressed on many occasions the respect he has for Coach Stokes and her program.

                          On FSN 34, WSU volleyball and the automatic bid to the NCAA tourney at 3:07pm.

                            My Guide says that the volleyball match is also on Channel 22. KState basketball is on FSN. Weird.
