This is a Big one. Perhaps not a must win at this point, but falling two games behind MSU will set up several must wins down the road, including next week's roadie at Creighton.

If recent history is any indication this match will be a real battle. All 3 of the matches between the teams last year went 5 games:

10-27-06 at Missouri State W 3-2 28-30,31-29,16-30,30-28,20-18

11-24-06 vs Missouri State L 2-3 31-29,25-30,30-27,21-30,11-15

Whew! Shocks run out to a big lead, then gave up 6 straight points late to fall behind 27-28.

However, they righted themselves behind Sara Lungren and pulled out a tough 32-30 win in game 1.

Did someone say this was going to be a battle?

Shockers up 3-2 in Game 3 when MSU's outstanding senior setter, Katelyn Panzau left for the Locker room with an injury. Not sure whether she will be back.

Shocks now up 6-2.

Really hate to see a great player like Panzau injured. Hopefully, nothing serious.

Shockers rally from a 22-25 deficit to win Game 4 by 30-26 and take the match 3 games to 1.

Shocks were boosted by a great effort by Sarah McGee off the bench.

Kudos to MSU. Sounds like they played their hearts out after Panzau went down.

Man, these MSU matches are just really tough.

Remember, we get the Bears on Novermber 2nd and all tickets are $1.

No reason not to set a new attendance record for that one.
