What happened to Darcy Jennings

She was part of the 2005 recruiting class that was ranked 27th by prepvolleyball. I cannot remember her at all.

Can anyone provide some detail?


Also in that 27th ranked class.....Kayla Stout (out of volleyball), Katie Niggemeyer (slated to step in right away), Melissa Granville (tabbed as one of the very best backrow players in the country coming out of high school) and Kim Wadsworth.


Just goes to show that numbers don't mean everything.

She is playing for Adams State College (Division II) and has led them in blocks with over 100 in each of her first two years in the program.

It would be interesting to see her play. From looking at stats and info, it would seem there is a big dropoff in talent after Darcy and a couple more players.....I wonder why she left after her redshirt year here? Just my own speculation, but the change in environment might have been a bit too much at one time for the star from Lakin.

I wish her the best at ASC.

Wu...what stats and info are you referring to? Our defense is tough and holding opposing teams to a low percentage rate. Unless you're considering overall offensive numbers; that will improve as Hooper learns to set the middle's better (she's not there yet).

I would also offer that Stockman and Tokarz transferring-in from other programs more than made up for Jennings departure.

83, I think you might be misunderstanding me. I was commenting on the talent of Darcy's ASC team.

We're just fine.....Hoop's already a star and only getting better.
