    Other MVC boards

    I've looked at other MVC sports message boards for comments about volleyball. I am most amused by the UNI board.

    JayJ79: In other news, I wonder if UNI will get any votes in the coaches poll after this weekend. I don't think they'll make it into the top 25, but they DID beat a team that had been #19 in the preseason poll. so that plus a 6-0 record might get them on a ballot or two.

    I think I'm going to head down to Ames on Wed. to cheer them on against the 'Clones.

    There is not even a hint on the UNI board that WSU is ranked #22 by the AVCA poll. They seem to believe that if they ignore WSU's volleyball success, it isn't real. :lol:

    Is that kind of like us ignoring Creighton's in basketball. If it isn't ackowledged, it never happend. :)

        Spangler, you're getting way to sensitive/paranoid. Why the heck should a UNI fan mention WSU on their board, when discussing their team's accomplishments?

        With the way you post on VolleyTalk, it seems you are developing an inferiority complex in regards to WSU volleyball. Resist the temptation, man. You're better than that.

          I am very serious about family and work. Almost everything else (e.g. sports, politics) is intended to contain some element of humor. (Of course, with my poor sense of humor, maybe my attempts to amuse others are unsuccessful.) If you look at my posts, you'll see that I am willing to poke fun at WSU & WSU fans, MVC & MVC fans and myself as well as the wider world. However I will take your advice under consideration. (Of course, I usually try to provide some information or education with my humor.) :D :D :D

          PS I wish more Shocker fans would visit and post on sites like the one you mentioned.
