15 all. A 10 point game. Let's put the pedal to the metal Shocks and finish this off.

Shocks win a long rally to keep the set tied at 19.

Advantage OU at 21-19. Lambo calls a TO.

Do the Shocks have yet another come from behind effort in them?

Sarah McGee service is long at match point to tie it up at 24.

Shocks now have a 2nd match point at 25-24.

            OU with another time out.

Emily with the kill to close out the set and the match.

              Shocks sweep OU 32-30, 25-13 and 26-24.

A great day in Shocker Volleyball history. Maybe the best day ever.

And yes, we have the Tournament title wrapped up, but we don't want to win with no stinking tie-breaker.

Hopefully, the Ladies can wind down tonight, get a decent nights sleep and come back tomorrow and continue to play well.

Does this mean you will be staying away from the team tonight?

You could hear the wheels turning in Lambo's head during the post game show. It was obvious that he believes this team definitely has room and the ability to improve.

I think this team will be much better in December. I would love to beat Nebraska in the NCAA VB tourney. :D
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

You can really see how the shorter sets are shorting our bench (which has to be killing Lambo). Hopefully it won't hurt our ability to run everything that we ideally could if we had more variety in our lineup.

I was very disappointed in KWCH (channel 12) last night. No mention of the lady Shocks big win on the 9:00 Fox early news and nothing again on the 10 o'clock news. I know there's a lot of football interest, however a 5 second mention of the big upset would have been nice. I like the new lady sportscaster, but she or her producer should at least recognize this accomplishment. My wife and I were both surprised at the total slight.
I’m confident that ‘The Bruce’ will make up for it on Sports Sunday.

                              :(
                              SFL is back!

Jim Kobbe on channel 3 mentioned the wins at the close of the sportscast. I don't know what channel 10 said.
