    MVC Preseason VB Poll

    Not out yet - so lets make our own up.

    My totally uneducated guess:
    1. Wichita State (by one match)
    2. Creighton
    3. Northern Iowa
    4. Missouri State
    4. Illinois State
    5. Southern Illinois
    6. Drake
    7. Evansville
    8. Indiana State
    9. Bradley

    Bottom group hard to pick with so many new coaches.

    Creighton lost Kelly Goc (#1 in HITTING PERCENTAGE, #2 in KILLS, #2 in POINTS in the MVC), who was a 2007 AVCA honorable mention All-American. I think this is a bigger loss for CU than losing Sara (2007 AVCA honorable mention All-American) was for WSU.

    Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

      I'm not sure I'd go that far. We don't have anyone to replace all the things that Sara did.

      Both are big losses and I doubt either will fully replace those young ladies.

      I do think WSU is postioned with lots of talent to fill the spot and I think they will win the Valley, again.

      I would agree that, at least from the depth I saw, that CU will have a harder time overcoming the loss of Kelly than we will with Sara....in other words, we lost more but have more to fill the shoes.

              We will have our work cut out to be at the top again. Based on coaches picking 4 teams that could win the MVC title, each match will be critical. When will our great libero get her recoginition as the best in the area?
