I've only followed Shocker volleyball for the last nine years. The continued improvements are amazing. I give credit to Kansas State who is usually a top 20 team to schedule the SHOX. Why not play every year? With over 6,000 people at the match last year it shows this is what people are willing to pay for. It just seams like as we cycle thru our best teams there is no Cat on the schedule. Not this year and I'm for sure they will not schedule us next year. Play the best - always!

Maybe Lambo wants to play them, but they have the complex that the rest of the Big 12 teams in the state have. They simply cannot afford to lose to WSU because then they may show that they aren't the best team in the state. Even though they beat us last year. -
I was somewhat surprised to see no WSU on the 'Cats schedule this year. I've heard rumors of no love lost between Susie and Lambo. That may be a factor and KSU has pretty much proven they can beat WSU even in Wichita when the tourney schedule was stacked against them.Comment

I don't see that this is relevant one way or the other regarding the topic at hand. WSU has also proven they can give KSU and most other Big XII schools a very competitive match.Originally posted by BCSCat
It would be an interesting match that would create a lot of fan interest and it would be good for Volleyball in the State of Kansas.
No good reason not to have KSU, or KU for that matter, on the schedule most years if a common date can be found (or created).
That said, I would be surprised if it were to happen.Comment
