    2008 tickets

    I just called the ticket office and increased my number of VB season tickets from 2 to 4. The individual on the phone said I was the first person to renew. I guess I can say First Post (or first renewal). :D

    I asked for 4 MVC VB tourney tickets also (since I received a renewal/order form for both season tickets and tourney tickets in the mail) but there was some technical issue and they will take care of this later today.

    There is still only one of me. Instead of having two tickets for one person (me ;-) ), now I'll have four tickets for one person. So I'm making an offer to take (up to three, depending on how many tickets are still unused for that match) people (once) to a VB match this fall; if they like it, maybe they will also get season tickets. If you are interested (a day or two before a match), send me a SN message and we can make arrangements.

    Does this mean that anyone can order season tickets now? My eldest niece wanted them for her birthday and my brother has been waiting to get them since then.

      If anyone ever wants a couple free tickets let me know. I won't promise them for the big matches that we'll host but for most home matches I'll be able to give people a couple.

        Does anyone have any suggestions on how to increase season ticket sales? There are some interesting matches (e.g. Ohio State, MVC rivals like MSU, UNI, etc.) and there are some weak matches.

        If a person already has season tickets, even the weak matches can be fun and the tickets are already paid for. Season tickets are cheap ($50 ?? for the MVC VB tourney and a bunch of home matches) and the women play very well (except for last year's UNI match :-x ).

        If you want a cheap "date" or you want to show a visitor some cheap fun, bring them to a Shocker volleyball match. Crazy antics by the WSU crew!! Fired up fans!!

        Come one, come all. Get your season ticket for volleyball before they sell out. Only 9500 (or 8500 or ?? ) left. :D :D :D

          I think if the publicized when they were available it would help. My brother would check from time to time because they want to buy season tix for 4 as their daughters absolutely love it. They kept asking me if I knew and I could never find out or find anything.

          More publicity there would also help becuase volleyball does seem to get forgotten at times and may sneak up on people who may choose to buy them. But since it doesn't get the publicity of basketball or baseball it's easy to overlook.

                I don't think MVC Tix were in the deal. I was at my brothers when he ordered his families and he didn't think it was part of the season ticket package.

                    I also was surprised. I am happy to pay more for the Tourney but I would have liked to buy it all at the same time (like baseball) and I hope I am wrong but I am afraid it will detract other fans perhaps not as committed as I. I think it will be too easy to not attend the tournament on Thanksgiving weekend for an awful lot of fans.

                        I picked up my tickets Tuesday and had to pay extra for tourney tickets.
                        First a Baseball fan then a Volleyball fan and then I guess I follow the basketball team.
