Congratulations to Lambo on his 400 career win as a head coach, all coming at the helm of the Wichita State Shocker.

So glad the cosmic tumblers fell into place 18 years ago allowing Wichita State's and Coach Lamb's paths to collide and become one.

Destiny shined brightly on the Shockers when Chris and Shannon became part of the Shocker Family.

Not sure how long Chris, who is about 53 years old I think, will want to continue to do this but I hope it is for a long time yet.

BTW Lambo has 400 victories and counting in his 18 years as Shocker head man. The previous 5 coaches combined for 342 wins in 24 seasons.

This is an interesting Shocker team. They have a bit of a tendency to start matches slow. They have lost 5 first sets and have won 5 first sets by the 2 point minimum. They also will on occasion give up seemingly comfortable leads. However, they seem pretty unflappable as that never seems to bother them too much as they also seem to have the capacity to quickly adjust and right the ship and in some cases doing so in dominating fashion. This weekend's wins over SMU and Tulsa being good examples of that.

Maybe they just want to add a bit of excitement for Shocker fans.

This is what Lambo is trying to accompish by playing a fast tempo. Hopefully, allowing his players to get their attacks off before the defense can full react. Looks like it worked on the shot of Mikaela's attack.
