I think the air may have went out of the Shocks baloon when the TCU standing back row attack caught the tape and dribbled over to floor to make it 17-12 instead of 16-13.

TCU with just too much fire power spread out throughout there lineup.

It was winnable match for the Shocks but not at the level they played at today.

I wonder if Lambo might give some thought to recruiting or developing bigger Liberos and DS's. I was impressed with the TCU Libero who I think was listed at 6'. She just seemed effortless.

Still another good season for the Shocks. Thank you and farewell to the three Shocker seniors Jody Larson, Dani Mostrom and Katy Dudzinski.

Emily Heibert had 8 kils and a .389 hitting percentage, 38 assists, 18 digs and 4 block assists.

Nucleus coming back next year in addition to Emily will include Abbie Lehman, Tabitha Brown, and Mikaela Raudsepp. Hopefully, Jenny Whitledge and Giorgia Civita will recover from their season endng injuries well and be able to contribute to the Shocks success next year.

I really have no idea among the remainder of the roster who might step into significant roles next year but I would hope a couple of them will.

Definitely need to find a strong middle to go along with Abbie.

Who will step up, if anyone, from our stable of Defensive Specialists to fille the void left by Dani's graduating. Gabi and Hanna will be seniors but not sure they can fill the bill but not sure any of the younger players can either. But any of them can make big steps over the next 9 months.

video quality starts off pretty bad, but after a while improves to a quality feed (at least that was the case on my connection)

I do think it is rather lame that a Big 12 program plays in a high school gym, at least in terms of crowd capacity and the low ceiling. Then again, UNI had its best success when it played in the old West Gym, which was similar.
