Yes, we are. We are certainly not a P5 conference.

And that looks about right. Missouri State has been playing better than anyone else in the Valley for several weeks now.

Makes perfect sense that we're ranked behind 3 teams that we've beat head to head and ahead of 1 we haven't.

That's a point I could/should have made. These rankings are always posted on Volleytalk (by the magazine), but I have never bothered to post them here because they are often derided on that forum. Nonetheless, I have no problem with @boyshocker: posting them here. They provide some discussion and, after all, I know someone personally who posts info from Volleytalk that may have limited utility for some/many.

I should have added the following. There is always somebody questioning one poll or another (for example, @WuDrWu: thought it looked a little goofy), and that is fine. Polls are interesting to talk about, but things eventually get decided on the court.

I am glad @boyshocker: posted it. It gives a view of what some supposedly knowledgeable, invested people (the voters are all mid-major coaches) think.
