I would like to know what your secret sauce is. I have only been able to catch small snippets although I did get to listen to the last 2 points of the 3rd set win.

Not sure why. I did have to reload a couple of times before the match started, but since then it will only go out for about a second every once in a while.

Sometimes we seem to get the feed and then sometimes it seems we are getting whatever is in the buffer which is not very long time-wise.

Shockers 21-25 Texas

Shocks can never quite close the late gap.

Shockers hit .303 v .346. Blocks were 6 v 9. Aces-errors were -9 v -3.

Abbie was 13-0-20 for .650, Mikaela 13-5-22 for .250, Jody 19-9-42 for .238 and Tabitha 93-26 for .231.

Not a match you expected to have in the win column but if there was a year to get Texas this may have been it. Sounds it was a solid effort from the Lady Shocks. Too bad Dani was down today. Probably just boiled down to Texas having superior athletes overall.

We got Nwanebu under .400 for a bit, but she finished 20-3-41 for .415.

Lamb found out RIGHT before the game that Mostrom wasn't going to be able to go, didn't sound to pleased with that situation since he had no time to prepare. Seemed he had no warning.

Really happy with Giorgia and the way she handled it, but again, would have liked to see the two of them out there together for better passing.

He thinks the starters are disappointed with the way the subs contributed when they came in, expects more from them.

Happy about keeping the kill % even with Texas.

Giorgia doesn't know all the defensive plays yet.

They didn't have any stats on the monitor so they couldn't discuss them.

I find this strange. Did Dani go to the training staff this morning to say she wasn't feeling that great, and that was the first time the protocol was run? Maybe the Monday Coach's Show will shed some more light on this.
