Good, solid true road win for the Shocks. The Shocks played well from 22-24 in Set 1 on but I think they are capable of paying even better.

Anyone else have trouble with the Shocker audio or is just on my end? I tried to listen to Lambo's post-game comments but it just became too frustrating to even bother.

No confirmation, but I'm hearing the internet cut out on CSU's side. The issue was not with you.

@flyingMoose: and I have tried to get explanations and answers on the audio issues with mixed results. I don't think this was a WSU error, but no doubt, it is EXTREMELY frustrating.

The only comment I caught from the post-game before it left us was the magnificent job Emily is doing running the offense.

Anybody catch any more than that?

              In Set Three, the Shocks hit .481 v .154. For the match, .440 v .231. Individually, Jody 15-2-23 for .565, Abbie 7-0-13 for .538, Tabitha 7-1-15 for .400 and Mikaela 7-1-17 for .353. Emily was 4-1-7 for .429.

Shockers led in blocks 4-3 and the aces-errors numbers were +1 v -8.

Matt talked a lot about no block by the Rams. I wonder if it was just Emily reading them so well, finding the right person to set.

Because Matt, the Ram play-by-play guy, was so knowledgable, I didn't even try to listen to Mike until the post-game - with no luck as I mentioned above.

.440 as a team for the match against this caliber of competition on the road is very impressive indeed.

Only 6 attack errors on 84 attempts. That seems pretty good to me.

Emily Heibert is playing some outstanding, all-around volleyball. She's good.

Great win!! Coming out of the gate strong on the weekend for a change. Big opportunity against Texas. Looking forward to see what the ladies can bring to the table.

On Volleytalk, one poster described .440 as surreal. Another asked, "What about the damned altitude!" :)

Jody Larson is off to a really good start to her senior season. Is it my imagination are does she look like she is in significantly better physical condition then last year. Looks like she might have dropped a few pounds and gained some ups and quickness in the process. If so, kudos to her.

Creighton damned near beat Kansas tonight. Up 2-1 they had the 4th set tied at 24, 25, and 26 before ku won 2 straight to force a 5th set.

                          15-13 ku in the 5th.

ku can travel to Omaha, but not Wichita.

ku can go to hell. Non stop.

                              UT-San Antonio 3 Oklahoma 2 (19) 20 (20) 24 18!

That was in McCasland Field House. OU was 7-0 going into the match but those 7 wins were against ORU, UTEP, UMKC, UALR, UT-M, Mississippi State and UA-PB.

Baylor, who lost to CSU 3-1 last weekend, lost a 2 point lead in the 5th and lost to #16 Florida State (18) 15 13 (19) 13
