Bracketology (11/24)
A majority of teams have concluded the regular season (particularly those with conference tournaments). Some teams are still in action this week.
Crucial Big East and Missouri Valley tournaments this weekend.
**I will update the Automatic Qualifiers as they win their conference.
**I will update my final selections after all matches conclude on Saturday night, November 28th and release a predicted NCAA Tournament bracket.
The NCAA Selection show on Sunday, November 29th.

These teams are IN the NCAA tournament. They should not be shaking in their boots on Selection Sunday, they will be waiting to hear WHERE they are going to be sent.

THE "SAFE(R)" FOUR
Southern Illinois and Missouri State- I am including both of these two in the same statement. One of the two is almost assured an NCAA bid (if Missouri St. beats Loyola in the first round) because they are going to play each other and the winner should get a bid. The loser is going to have a good chance at getting a bid too. The stunner will be if Loyola Chicago goes on a run in the MVC tournament. I think the loser of Mo State and SIU is one of the last teams IN the tournament.
FIRST FOUR OUT
Northern Iowa- UNI is a team that I can see just squeaking into the tournament. Part of me wanted to put them in and take Villanova out, and that could still happen. Northern Iowa has to win their opening round match, if they lose that, they are definitely out. If they win that match and lose the next, things don't look good but they still have a chance. If they win their first two, I think UNI is in. Will be very interesting to see how the MVC plays out.
