Based on the comparative scores from last week's matches I would think that Missouri State would be somewhat of a favorite in tonight's match.

Shocks fall to Missouri State 1-3 (25-20, 22-25, 25-27 and 22-25). About what I expected, although the Shocks did fight hard and were able to make if a very competitive match. Missouri State is very athletic and they have far and away the best player in the league in Lily Johnson. Sometimes you just get out-athleted and maybe that was the case tonight.

MSU had 6 aces and only 3 service errors. The Shocks had 2 aces and 9 service errors. The Bears also out-dug the Shocks 83-73.

I still believe that the Shocks are making too many unforced errors and giving away too many points and that is particularly tough to overcome against a quality team like Missouri State. Hopefully, the Shocks will be able to clean that up a little bit as the season progresses.

Seemed that MS Did a good when AL and MR served, they took advantage of them on the back row and got the quick sideout. Think JL served for MR one time. you are right about the unforced errors, and too many net calls. There is still a lot of vb left.
