I assume that means we won.
Anyway, that was an amazing comeback. Down 9-3 in the 5th, and to pull it out like that was stellar. Big guts for those ladies. Really impressed with Larson.
Definitely heading out tomorrow night.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Mack is a good player for UK but it was nice to see her funnel one into the net in the 5th set. She was a little too brash for my taste. That delay of game point or whatever was pretty funny as well.Deuces Valley.

the match is already archived, so you can re-watch those last few points if you want, to see what you missed: http://espn.go.com/watchespn/player/...ize/condensed/

Ok, I don't want a student sent to the unemployment line over this. But it was shitty as hell. Biggest point of the match in a come-from-behind setting against a ranked opponent. Yah, it was kind of a big deal. What the hell was the point of watching it if you can't even see the ending?
Something tells me if the game involved UNI, you wouldn't be feeling as "meh".Deuces Valley.

if the game involved UNI, I'd likely be at it (if it was a home match), otherwise, in addition to the espn3 stream, I'd probably have the radio broadcast on as well (cuz I'm weird like that), so no, I probably wouldn't get that worked up.

I don't get how that video end snafu happened....was it on a timer or something? You cannot tell me, student or not, someone was dumb enough to pull the plug on the event at that moment when the game was going on right before their eyes.

Well, I wasn't at the game and didn't coordinate radio play-by-play with streaming play-by-play. So now that we got that out of the way, you can obviously understand the frustration at the moment of occurrence after watching about an hour of the match in the comeback fashion it was and caliber of opponent they were playing against.
It appears with your back-and-forth that you may be more concerned about my reaction than my actual reaction of the error. Again, thanks for your non-participating team concern.Deuces Valley.

Mucho funno in the Chucko tonighto.
Not a great crowd in terms of numbers which was disappointing but the 2,044 fans in attendance not only got their monies worth but they were pretty enthusiastic in their support of the Shocks.
Katie Reilly may very well have had the best match of her career with 19 kills and only 1 error on 32 attacks for a 0.563 hitting % with a goodly number of those kills leaving a vapor trail.
Emily Heibert was 1 kill shy of a triple-double as she finished with 9 kills (9-1-14 = 0.571), 10 digs and 45 assists plus she contributed 4 of the Shocker's 9 aces.
I thought the Shocks serving and passing was very good tonight and this team is pretty good at keeping the ball in play. Gabi Mostrom had two big service points in Set 4 with the game tied at 19 points including an ace to put the Shocks up 21-19 in that set.
Jody Larson's serving in the 5th set was excellent as well.
