2015 Season - Almost Here

This is maybe the 3rd best team, talent-depth wise I can remember since I started following the program.

I believe this group of young women could be special...perhaps not this year as much as next year but they could still be very, very good this season.

There's a lot of talent and size on this squad. Lambo has said more than once how he really likes his team this year....he thinks they are all on the same page and there are a lot of fighters out there.

I think more and more that the trip to Hawaii is huge. Get out to a good start against a couple of very solid teams that will be in the mix come tourney time and the sky is the limit.

Stumble out of the blocks and we could be near .500 come Valley time.

No pressure there Wu, but I agree. Guess not playing Hawaii right off is good, but suspect they will have 6/m or more at the games. Another part of the game these girls will have to adjust to also. Larson probably saw the Texas atmosphere but few others have. Not a UT fan but did get to see a game there a few years back, great experience.

While Lambo mentioned Jody Larson's broad skill set he focused mostly on the toughness she has brought to the team and said he thought she was drawing some toughness out of Emily and Abbie who she had played some club ball with.

While he did say this was the toughest schedule he has ever put together he also thinks this team is good enough to challenge it.

Said he really likes working with this group of girls. Sounds like the chemistry is good at this point.

Not sure if anyone called in to correct Bruce but he said at least a couple of times that the Shocks would open at home on October 10th. The correct date, of course, is September 10th.

Mikeala Raudsepp find the competition for playing time much tougher this year.
