Shocks @ Bradley & Loyola, 9/26 and 9/27

Shocks travel to Peoria to take on the 0-12 (0-2) Bradley Gargirls are whatever they are called now tonight at 7:00 and the 5-6 (1-1) Loyola Lady Ramblers Saturday evening at 7:00.

These are matches the Lady Shocks must win and quite frankly should win if they are going to be contenders this year. If they don't win both of these matches I will be in a serious depression come Sunday. I will say that Loyola has a seriously legit player in 6-1 Sophomore OH Morgan Reardon.

No doubt, very good stuff.

Morgan Reardon is a handful and we struggled with her at times last year. I think Saturday is going to be a total dog fight and our girls will need to be at the top of their game to get the W.

if that correlation is made about the Bradley women, what does that imply about WSU women with the nickname of "Shockers"?


Also, Bradley still uses the "Braves" nickname, they just have an unrelated mascot. Kind of like the Stanford Cardinal have a tree.

A so-so 1st set, a strong 2nd set, a terrible start to the 3rd set but a great finish. Down and up and down and up but still a sweep. Enjoy the ride Shocker fans. Tomorrow will be much tougher as @WuDrWu: has pointed out.

In the post-game, Lambo mentioned "needing something" (I did not understand exactly what he was trying to say) from Ashlyn and KatyD, so I wonder if both were dinged up some or both just had weak practices this past week.

In the post-game, Lambo mentioned "needing something" (I did not understand exactly what he was trying to say) from Ashlyn and KatyD, so I wonder if both were dinged up some or both just had weak practices this past week.

Sorry I got called away and missed set 3. There's no hiding that Lambo is begging Katy Dudzinski to step up and put her God given talent to use on the court. I'm not sure she's the gamer he's looking for....she's an amazing kid but there's so much that goes into being a great D1 athlete. But what do I know? Just my opinion.
