CU beats Pepperdine 3-1. All sets were competitive.

We'll have our hands more than full with Pepperdine. We'll have to play the best match of the year to hang with the Jays.

In Set 1 the Shock trailed 13-19, rallied to tie at 21-all before falling 22-25. Shocks in control most of the way in Set 2 winning 25-19.

Note to Shocker Fans: Fasten your seat belts. This year may be a wild ride.

In Set 3 the Shocks fell behind 0-3 but then came charging back to lead 14-8. After trading points for a stretch Pepperdine pulled back to 22-19 before the Shocks put the set away winning 3 of the final 4 points.

Mike Kennedy begging the Shocks to not let this go 5. The Shocks have already set a school record with 4 consecutive 5 set matches coming into the Pepperdine match and 5 of their last 6 matches have gone 5 sets.

Sounds like the experiment with Ashlyn on the right side is over. Ashlyn has been much more productive and confident on the left against Bowling Green and Pepperdine.

Shocks led 8-6, now trail 10-8 as the Shockers continue to enjoy a roller coaster style.

                              Pepperdine leads 13-10

Shocks rally to lead it at 14-13

                              Now Pepperdine leads 17-14

                              Wheeeeeee!

Now the Shocks are up 21-18. Time out Pepperdine.

Pepperdine's turn to rally? Hope not.
