Damn fine opening show of the season. Very upbeat and positive vibe. Lambo is so interesting and entertaining to listen to.

One comment Lambo made that I thought was interesting was that you have to recruit young in VB. He said they are done with the Class of 2015 and 2016 and are working on the Class of 2017 (H.S. Sophomores) and 2018 (H.S. Freshman) now.

Makes sense. For the most part, girls have already hit their growth spurt by the middle of high school, so what they are as a freshman/sophomore is pretty much what they will be in college.

Yep, they get started early recruiting for women's sports. Here's a crazy story about one of the top female recruits for soccer, and the push to start the recruitment process at much younger ages for college women's sports.
