The Shocks head to Chicago for a 7:00 pm match with Loyola tonight and then head across state to face Bradley on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
The Shocks had an easy time with these teams a month ago which may be the biggest concern with these re-matches considering this team's tendency to play flat and without focus on occasion.
Also, Bradley and Loyola are currently tied for 6th place which is the final spot for qualifying Valley Tournament so you would expect to be facing two very motivated opponents.
With two wins this week the Shocks can guarantee that they will finish no worse than 2nd in the league and secure a 1st round bye in the upcoming Valley Tournament. So the Shocks do have something to play for.
After this weekend we have MSU remaining in the regular season and, hopefully, two tough matches in he Valley Tournament. Time to fine tune the machine for a strong finish.
