I think we are playing incredibly well, as well as last weekend. USC is just bigger and stronger. I would love for us to take a set, but I am happy with the way we are playing.

Lambo specifically said in the pre-game show that you can't afford to give up those big runs like they did at the beginning of the 2nd set getting down 0-5.

After the Shocks got down 0-2 to Arkansas I really did believe we could come back and win that match. I don't have the same feeling in this match.

As Lambo has said on occassion in the past sometimes it just boils down to who can jump higher and hit harder and their is little doubt hwo that is in this match. I've seen the Shocks play better, but they are doing OK. Certainly, don't have anything to be embarrassed about.

What the heck let's see if we can steal this upcoming 3rd set and then see what happens.

Well its been kind of a roller coaster ride, but it was a fun ride. Thank you Ladies for another very good Shocker volleyball season.

Sorry to have to say a final farewell to Jackie and Emily. We wish you both the very best life can bring you.

I liked the comments that the announcers had for our youngsters. Would love to have our Seniors go out better than that. USC is a great team, but we made a bunch of mistakes.

My image for them going out was on the heels of a 5 set, blood/sweat/tears battle where it was all left on the court. I think they will look back and question this match. I don't think USC is that much better than us, they were just stronger mentally and didn't make the mistakes.

It a GREAT day to be a Shocker, and I as well are SO proud of our girls!!

I am amazed these sets were as close as they were. We were outblocked, Emily and Ashley hit negative, Chelsey was not as effective as she usually is, and Elizabeth hit .200, a low number for a middle. Giving away three and four inches has a lot to do with that. Ashlyn and Katie did well, had some really nice swings, which bodes well for the future. After looking at the stats, I think I am even more impressed with our result. Nothing to be ashamed of here.
