He also had KSU winning over UNI in 4 sets and we know how that turned out. To me the Shocks and Arkansas match is a toss-up. The Shockers chances are primarily dependent on which Shocker team shows up this afternoon.

Nothing was said in today's pre-match write-up in the Eagle about Sam Sander's status but last I heard it was sounding favorable that she would be able to go. Guess we will know for sure in a couple of hours.

Interesting, I suppose, but Colgate takes a set off Texas??!! Only if they are still on Eastern time and start an hour before scheduled when the Horns are not on the court. Last night, the actual scores were 4, 11 and 15 - 30 points for the whole match for Colgate.

But when it comes to the Shocks, I am confident the simulation is eerily accurate. :)

He has Creighton making the Sweet 16 also. I think that is entirely possible.

Mike's audio trails the video, but the video announcers are from Arkansas. :(

So far looks like the Shocker team that beats themselves has shown up.

18-11 Arkansas. Second timeout for WSU.

The camera angle is weird but we seem slow.

                        Arkansas wins set 1, 25-16.

Acosta is hurting us. 7 kills 0 errors.

Very disappointing performance in Set 1. I didn't think we would be terribly over-matched in this match but maybe we are. Maybe we aren't and just think we are. In any case Shocks did not compete well at all in Set 1.

GT is also unavailable. Appears there are some media issues coming out of Allen Fieldhouse. Mike just now says we hit -.032.

We got out to an early lead in the 2nd, but are now down 10-8.
