The Shocks got a nice boost in their Pablo this week, jumping to 42. Interestingly enough, Pablo has Kansas @ 36, Arkansas @ 33 and Cleveland State @ 58, making the Lawrence regional quite possibly the most competitive regional in the country.

@1972Shocker:, I believe in your common opponents breakdown that Arkansas lost at Auburn 3-2 instead of winning.

The (very) short answer here @flyingMoose:, is yes. Often. One of the biggest problems we have is geographically. Limited schools in the midwest, and you know Nebraska and Texas, for example, are going to host every year.

It would be nice to see, for instance, a PAC12 low #1 get sent here with us as 2, but I just doubt it's ever going to happen.

Thanks. With the philosophy that national seeds get to host unless there is some facility-availability conflict and with the geography issue, it appears that practically speaking, we will never get to host.

I guess we just need to build the program to where we are national seed every now and again.
