It appears Brooke and Megan are out of this set.

Chipping away. 3-13 becomes 12-17 and Tulsa takes a TO.

Lauren McMahon is also in with a block assist and two kills.

Another strong run and it is 18-19.

Oops. 18-22 and the Shocks take a timeout.

    20-22. TO Tulsa.

More to come, but should be 19-21 as that last swing was CLEARLY in by Sofia, called out by lazy TU linesman. FU

Sorry, not Sofia but Morgan Weber.

Morgan, clearly pissed about it, responds by destroying one out of the timeout.

Error by TU and timeout TU..

      Should be tied.

      20-22.

Tough set. Shocks had set point but Tulsa comes back to take the set 30-28. Shocks showed a lot of heart. If we could pass like TU, we'd be on the bus home by now.

Morgan was very good on the left late, but missed a couple of good chances to put the screws to Tulsa.

A big gap in the stats. We are in extras.

28-27, but Tulsa scores the next three. 28-30 and we are at a set apiece.

.168 v .160. Brylee with nine kills and Nicole with six.

Great come back by the Shocks in Set 2 coming back from a 4-14 deficit to forge a tie at 24-all. Shocks fought off 3 set points and were serving for the set at 28-27 but Tulsa scored the final 3 points of the set for a 30-28 win.

Would the outcome have been different if WuDrWu was right on the missed call on a Shocker attack by Sophia?

            Set Three

Brylee, Kayce, Nicole, Sina, Natalie, Lauren, Morgan. Definitely a different look.

            Mckayla and Marriah rotate in.

While that one call on Morgan's kill (called out) was brutal, it appears WSU got one back on a TU BE that appeared to be a swing by WSU that hit the net and came back and was never touched. Might have been touched, but I don't think so.

Shocks were really battling at the end but missed a couple of chances on free balls or overpasses where they did not get quality swings at all. At this level, you just can't allow that to happen, and it happens to us at least 40% of the time on free stuff.

7-9 moves to 12-9 on five Shocker kills - Nicole, Nicole, Byrlee, Lauren, Brylee. TO Tulsa.

And the beat goes on. Nicole, Morgan, Lauren before two Shocker blocks.

17-9 before Tulsa stops the bleeding. Ten in a row.

Heck of a 10-0 run by WSU with Morgan serving TOUGH and the entire offensive arsenal on display for the Shocks.

                  18-11 Shocks now.

At 19-12, the last Tulsa timeout.

9-7 Tulsa lead is now 19-12 Shocks and timeout TU.

Nicole is really bringing the thunder on the left this set. Our block is SUBSTANTIALLY better this set even though we're struggling to connect offensively with the middles.

Well, that look worked. 25-14 Shocks.

Now .209 v .141. Nicole at 11-1-29 for .345. Brylee also with eleven kills. Morgan has six.

Whatever changes Lambo made that set must have clicked. A 10 point run when the teams appear (at least to me) to be pretty evenly matched is quite unusual.

Not sure it was the fresh legs (vs not for Tulsa) or just better play, but those 2 freshman middles will work just fine thank you very much.

                              Set Four

Same starters as the last set. Why not?

I assume you are referring to Natialie and Lauren, correct?
