The Live Stats were problematic last night and again tonight in the Arizona-SF match, so I would definitely say they are having difficulties.

It's a long flight from the Islands to the Mainland and sometimes the carrier pigeons just run out of gas. Besides I hear the job only pays chicken feed.

Looks like we are running late. San Francisco looks like they may push Arizona to 5 sets. The Dons are trailing 1-2 but are up 23-19 in Set 4.

The Dons also gave Hawaii a reasonable competitive match last night.

Shocks better get their game going are they could easily leave the Islands with a big goose egg in the win column.

Update: Arizona rallies but USF holds on for a 26-24 win. On to a 5th set.

Final: Arizona wins the 5th set 15-10; Looks like we are looking at about a 1:00 am CT start for the Shocks match.

Mike estimates a crowd of about 8,000 for tonight's match.

I must admit I am envious of that kind of support. That's big time.

Wow! Shocks take Set 1 25-21.

Sounds like they are playing with a much greater sense of urgency, effort, confidence and aggressiveness tonight. A couple of the young 'uns, Sam and Elizabeth steppin' it up.

Not switching setters in this set. Going exclusively with Hoop so far.

Lambo's strategy of planting a big ol' KISS on the girls seems to be working. That being to Keep It Simple Stupid. He said in the pre-game that he tried to simpligy things some for tonight's match and didn't worry too much about a special strategy for Hawaii.

Hopefully, this will give the Shocks a big boost of confidence.

Now that is more like it!! I knew they had that in them. Hope they keep it up and have an upset while no one in the whole world but us and Hawaii is watching!!!

I think Hawaii has 5 service aces in this set and that is keeping them in the set.

I have to wonder how many people are even listening to this right now. (looks like sistyugler beat me to this question)

Definitely. I believe the 'Bows had a 7 to 1 advantage in aces in Set 2 and have 9 aces for the match. We definitely must tighten that up to have a shot at the upset.

Shocks had an 18-15 lead. A service error followed by a barrage of Hawaii service aces allowed Hawaii to close out the set on a 10-3 run.
