The staff apparently hasn't given up on him. Sure would like to know who else received calls from the Shocker staff.

I forgot what this thread was about after staring at WstateU's post for approximately 6 1/2 minutes.

Someone tell Coach Grant to leave these KS kids alone. He has enough recruits in the SE.

I find it interesting that Conner shoots 46 percent from the field and is called a "pure shooter" while Perry shoots 76 percent and nothing is said about his shooting abilities. In fact, Heights has three starters next year who all shot better from the field than Conner did.

                76% = more dunks!

Heights also had a lot more weapons to cover.

Shaquille O'Neal has a lifetime NBA shooting percentage of about 58% while Reggie Miller has a lifetime percentage of about 47% but I think it would be fair to say that Miller is a "pure shooter" while O'Neal is not. It is all about the type of shots being taken.

Terrence Moore, 56 percent FG shooting
Dreamius Smith 49 percent FG shooting

                      His own North teammates:
                      Henderson 57 percent shooting.
                      Hinojos 47 percent shooting.
                      Kemp 55 percent shooting.
                      Bernard 50 percent shooting.

Was the fifth best percentage shooter on his North team.

Not saying he isn't a good player, but I"m not buying the pure-shooter angle.

But how many of the shots those guys are taking open layups because opposing defenses are double or triple teaming Conner?

I haven't seen enough of his play to make a statement on how pure a shooter he is, but just picking out the shooting percentages without thinking about what shots the defense is allowing and how a good player causes teammates to have easy looks skews the numbers.

Was getting a little dull, and u guys have provided some good defense. I bet u're all going to go look at him this season too.

Take a good look at the GWAL this year. It's loaded.

Free throw and three point percentages are what proves a pure shooter, not fg percentages.

The kind of talent being produced in the Wichita area right now is pretty impressive. With Ellis and Frankamp, you've got two huge talents.
