Carl Lemons. A very mediocre 3 year starter. He was a Smithson player.

Some players have more talent than others but young people that come to my alma mater and represent themselves well as students and athletes deserve more than to be dismissed as mediocre.

Wow!!! I said nothing about him as a person. He started 65 games at WSU and had limited success. What should I have said? Let me start again...

Carl Lemons was a true champion at WSU! Although some have said he was "[less] talented than others," he starred at WSU from 1996-2000 as a PG and SG averaging just shy of 5 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists per game in his stand out juniour campaing. Carl only lacked one more great player to compliment Darren Williams, Mo Evans, Jason Perez, and himself to fully realize his potential as a basketball player.

Come on man, he was a mediocre player on a mediocre team. Nothing wrong with that.

I pretty much despise political correctness, but I guess "a 3-year starter on a bad team" would have been accurate without dissing or offending anybody.

Had nothing to do with political correctness but your last statement would have been a lot more accurate.

So you would have no problem with someone calling you mediocre on a public forum but I suppose it wouldn't be insulting to you so excuse me for pointing out your lack of tact.

You are correct. I don't consider average to be an insult. Not everyone can be great, however, any person that received a DI schollarship has excelled above anything I have accomplished.

And...back to Holland, he's not only is a high school teammate of Prince Obeh but also plays AAU with him on Top Achievers Pistons. They would be a very nice double get.

Agreed. This tandem would compliment the city league recruits well should we sign them.

These two would also be a good start to fill the shoes of Stutz and Murry.

DeMarcus was half of the Texas daily double scored today by South Florida. Their other commit came from Zach LeDay, who listed the Shockers a few years back as the first school to recruit him.

Holland decommited from USF and it sounds like he may end up at Texas as he's recently received an offer from them and SMU.
