  • Dai-Jon Parker Class of 2011

Rival's 57th ranked 4 star player, Dai-Jon Parker has been to WSU on an unofficial visit. I don't know when this happened. He's also taken unofficials to Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech and many times to Georgia. He just had an official visit to Florida State and is considering an official to Charollote. He remains wide open at this point but expects to sign in November.

He is a 6-3 SG from Alpharett, Georgia (Milton Hi).

Parker, now standing 6'6, is Hoopmasters 47th ranked player for Class of 2011.

He projects to be a 3, but playing as a 2/3 in college could help him if he wants to move to the NBA. He was invited to the NBA Top 100 camp. He was rated right at the middle of the pack for 2 guards (16th).

He also impressed at the Palms Classic, where he was described as a smooth combo guard that can create his own shot, but uses that skill also to set up open teammates. He strokes the 3 with ease and can finish at the hoop strongly.

His list of suitors is long right now... Georgia, Northwestern, Georgia Tech, Florida, Ohio State, Connecticut, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Wichita State, Miami, and probably many more.

Don't be surprised if we find out his teammate, Julian Royal (Hoopmasters 73rd ranked player), didn't visit with him. He is a 6'7 PF that can hit the 19'. Could be a combo deal.

Royal and Parker would be a real deal for almost anybody.

Royal is down to Georgia, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest so if they go as a pair it would favor Georgia.
