A school can bring in up to 12 recruits a year on an official (school pays) visit. I don't think we ever have that many. Unofficial (recruit pays) visits are not limited.

The staff goes to AAU events, open gyms and some high school games. They see hundreds of players each year. My guess is they are evaluating well over 100 players for each year.

Who knows on phone calls. I think the rules on them are a coach can make two phone calls a week to a recruit during his senior year. Calls from recruits to a coach are not restricted.
