Boy that is good to hear. This kid is the real deal AND has all the pluses. Very sharp, good student, great family, strong value system.

And man does he have the tools.

As I said before, I believe 100% this young man would be a perfect fit here. Not only that, it would be fairly easy for his family to attend most of the games, certainly easier than West Virginia or Happy Valley.

Mr. Miles, I think we know what needs to be done now.

This sounds very good for us! I think he completes our 2011 recruiting class! Let's get it done already Mr. Miles!

I would be happy with Miles or Nickerson to round out our 2011 class

Here is the Pangos All American recap featuring Myck Kabongo, Deuce Bello, Bishop Daniels, Lebryan Nash, Quincy Miller, Laquinton Ross, Ike Nwamu, Quinn Cook...

You can watch highlights of him here at about the 1:33 mark.

            This kid is a talent.

Myck Kabongo (great name by the way) has a little bit of pastry in his game.

There were 2 or 3 big guys at the end of the video that were TALENTED.

Not the 7'4" guy. But he is a load in the class of 2012!

A lot of talent in the video. Kabongo is going to Texas.

The video showed a lot of talent in dunking the ball. There was not a lot of outside shooting displayed, except for a few instances. Hammering the ball home, unfortunately, is what seems to capture the imagination of the younger players.

We all like to see an exciting dunk, but I would rather see a player with a well rounded skills set.

I'm pretty sure he can do more than dunk the ball if he's ranked on Rivals.

Yes, I have to agree with your comment about Miles and I should have mentioned his comment about being like Stephon Curry (sp), which would indicate that he does have a good outside shot. However, my original comments were geared more toward the other players on display. I just did not make that plain.

I don't think his Steph Curry remark was in reference to his game, but to playing at a school where basketball was the focus and he could be a star for a non-BCS program.

Steph Curry-like performances are reserved for Steph Curry--like players. If he thinks he is that good then come on down, but I would wager he'd get some competition for shots on our team and face a little rougher defense than he's accustomed. Like the confidence.

6'1 and 6'2 guys dunking with ease. I'm not convinced they were playing on 10' goals.

That's great. I think we have a good chance. Nickerson's decision will be annonced October's 30. More on that when I get home.
