Can't pay to read but there is talk of Kravish being down to two. It's got to be Cal and Iowa based upon stuff I have read.

      I think it does - October 2.

After fielding interest from schools all over the country, Kravish has settled in on a list that includes Creighton (unofficial visit this weekend), Iowa (official 9/2), California (offical 9/24), Colorado (10/2) and Wichita State (visit to be set).
I also like this part of the article:

Given that his list includes both high level mid major and high major programs, Kravish is more concerned about finding the right fit.

"It doesn't really matter and I never really think about it or compare it that way," said Kravish of considering mid and high major programs. "It's more about the opportunity that's there. Education is a big part of it so if a school has a good pre-med program that's a big plus.
Sounds like a kid with a great head on his shoulders.
Ah crap...he's looking for a good pre-med program....
WSU has a perfectly good pre-med program -- including the advantage of having lots of opportunities to gain experience in Wichita's major regional medical centers and excellent specialty hospitals, which is vital on your med school entrance application. I have several friends who have taken this track and are now MDs, including one who went back to school in his early 30s.
You don't actually do anything in a hospital as a pre-med. Pre-med is a directional course of study, not a major. 70% of pre-meds major in Biology with 25% more in physics or chemistry. The last 5% get degrees in English, history, philosophy or other academic areas and load up on the science courses.

There is nothing wrong with WSU's pre-med program, but it does not stand out. If you attend KU or Creighton, you have a strong advantage in receiving admittance to their medical programs upon graduation. Outside of that, there are several programs that are geared toward medical school admittance. WSU is not one of them.
why are you making excuses for this kid not to come here? are you just a negative nancy?

This article says he grew 7 inches (sounds like Stutz), and is now 6'10" tall.

Crayfish is taking his Colorado visit this weekend. I'm sure Iowa and Cal are both very well liked so talk about it down to two is probably not correct.
