Mamadou Seck Class of 2010

In the Thibodeaux thread it was noted that Seck had the Shockers' interest, which was reported by Hoopmasters. MidStatesHoops now reports a Shocker offer to Seck. The 6-7 SF at Southeastern, IL. JC has had Missouri State's interest for a long time. MidStates says he also has offers from SIU and Cal-Poly.

I believe the Shocker offer must of been made very recently.

Just based upon his picture, he looks like a rough and ready kind of guy.

I don't see him as a SF, but more of a PF. He appears to be strong, good scorer inside, and excellent rebounder.

He shot 0 3ptrs. Size wise, think Durley without the 3 pt shot, but better ups.

With a good mid-range jumper he could still be a "3," especially with Stutz and Durley both capable of shooting beyond the arch. However, it seems the game does revolve an awful lot around the 3 point shot these days.

Seck is a hardnosed forward that can beat you in many ways. Very aggressive, Mamadou is a big time rebounder that can beat you with his back to the basket or facing up due to his soft touch out to twelve feet. He’s got a good build with long arms and can put the ball on the floor. Very passionate, Seck rarely ever takes a play off. He’s got speed, quickness, strength, and leaping ability and doesn’t back down from anyone.

That has HCGM all over it.
