Jawanza will be headed to South Florida.

Looks like Marquise and Jawanza were smart enough to stay away from Oklahoma.

Makes you wonder if Jeff Capel was busier looking for a new job than getting commitments from recruits.

Putting on a dunk show for USF right now on the U.

It was against DePaul.

As a soph, Poland's playing 28 mpg and averaging 10 ppg. However, this is USF and his FG% is .355 and from 3, .238 throwing up 80 of them in 21 games. He's also a fouling machine averaging 3.4 per game.

All this can change, but I'd take less flash and more substance.

Nice article on Mr. Poland in today's Wichita Eagle. Thought they overhyped him somewhat but I'm glad to see him, seemingly, doing well. Hope he continues growing as a player and individual. When I saw him as a SR. at East High I believe I thought he could be an eventual D-1 player ... glad he's proving me right haha. Do any of ya'll think he'd do well in a Marshall Run-n-Gun style of offense? ... just sayin ... :goshocks:

I think Poland is a player that even HCGM would put up the RED LIGHT on 3s or he'd find himself on the pine. His fouling would also not endear him to Marshall. He's pick up another 16 PFs in the last 4 games since my previous post above.
