Folks, please. I was as big a critic of BA and his one dimensional game as anyone around but to compare Hatch to Blake is simply foolish.

      Fortunately Foolish is Fashionable.
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

I believe Clark averaged 20 or so PPG in HS. Clark may have been a better ball handler than Graham is. At least to this point. But I think Hatch will probably end up as a better Clark. I'd take a guy or two like that on every team.

            Matt Clark

Clark was actually one of the career scoring leaders in Colorado high school basketball history. He just wasn't big or quick enough to get his shot off or create it against Division I defenders the way he did in high school, but when he did get shots he could hit them.

The comparison between Hatch and Clark was based on a comment by (I believe) Turgeon, who described Hatch as a bigger, more athletic Matt Clark. The comparison between Hatch and Ahearn came completely out of the blue on this board; someone else on here also optimistically compared Hatch to Jason Perez.

If Hatch turns out to be close to as good a shooter and scoring threat at WSU as Ahearn was at MSU (notwithstanding Ahearn's other deficiencies), or to be anything even resembling Jason Perez, he will be a very nice going away present indeed from MT and his staff.

From what I have seen the jury is still out on Hatch. Dont look for him to get too many minutes this year

And with Hawkins on the way and if Mekel stays, he is a lock to have the same impact as Clark did at WSU.

And I'd be fine with that. Clark was a solid contributor that did a lot for WSU.

I really like the way our team will look in 2009-2010, if all players are still in place. Maui could be a lot of fun.

                    PG: Gal Mekel - Sr.
                    SG: AJ Hawkins - Sr.
                    SF: Aaron Ellis - Jr.
                    PF: Garrett Stutz - Soph.
                    C: Ehimen Orupke - Jr.
                    ------------
                    PF: Arbry Butler - Jr.
                    PF: JT Durley - Jr.
                    PG: Clevin Hannah - Sr.
                    SG: Toure Murray - Soph.

and then whatever Marshall brings in from the 09' class

                      08-09 looks nice too!

                      Mekel
                      Hawkins
                      Griskenas
                      Clemente
                      EO

                      Hannah
                      Murry
                      Ellis
                      Durley
                      Stutz

If everyone pans out as expected, that is a top notch team with Preadom, Hatch, and Butler making the team VERY deep!

That's assuming Mekel learns to run the point.

He certainly needs to work on it if his goal is make League. Looked good at 2 however.
