I take it you didn't check out the slightly more unusual stat of 20 blocks per game. Thanks.

No, of course I didn't check it out. It was absurd, thus I didn't post it when I posted his stats. Thanks for checking the TO numbers. That is disconcerting.

Mike and Dave should read the recruiting board so they can give accurate info. They said Rogers is probably a sophomore.

He averaged 20.4 points, hitting 80 3's this season (2.75/game). Pretty good for a 6'8" SF.

            Yes please!

Seriously, at this point I don't care who we sign as long as they can step in and contribute. I doubt we get Carter and I'm not sure what other PGs are a high priority. I know we have a couple of HS guys we've looked at. DWill can run the point. If his back up is a combination of Murry and/or Kyles or whoever else (KJ?) so be it. If we have to go a different direction to get someone who can help us now I'm all for it. And if that person happens to be a tall wing that's even better.

Forgot to add that he'd also give us 3 years of service which wouldn't suck at all.

And I forgot we've been looking at Cousin as well at the point. At this point, I just want to find someone and get it over with. I'm hoping we only have room for one more as I'd hate to see anybody leave.

Personally, I'd rather add a wing that can score points. A new point guard likely would not be able to contribute as much next year given the learning curve of our playbook and transition to D1. I'd rather have Murry/Kyles become backup points as mentioned above and bring in a stud point guard next year along with some bigs. I hope we get this guy.

I'm with you Dan. I've said all along that my priority would be a good wing, it's just that all indications have pointed to a PG.

I would be thrilled with either Carter or Rogers, both seem like very good scorers.

He is listed as a G/F on the Mesa CC website. What are the odds that he really is a 6'8" guy who can play the 3? Or does he fit more into the Kyle Wilson mold (not that that would be a bad thing)?

                            20.38 ppg; 48.7 fg %; 4.04 3pt %; 80.65 ft %; 5.48 rb; 1.48 as; 1.28 st; 7.31 Blocks; 2.58 TO.
                            .
Turnovers high, but WOW. Especially the 212 blocks for 7.31 per game.

Read earlier in the thread, there are problems with the stat numbers from the Mesa CC site, particularly the block shot numbers.

                                This source says 21.3 ppg, 81 ft %, 42.7 3pt %, 49.9 fg %, 5.3 rpg.
