    from rivals

" Alex English (no relation to the former NBA player of the same name) was the big play performer for the East team in the second half when the game was tied in crunch time. The Kansas City native was the most athletic player in the game and thundered home four dunks that shifted the momentum back to his squad. It was his step back three that gave his team the lead that stuck, too. English finished with 13 points. Because of his physical and athletic skills, English will be watched by the high-majors. "

He was also listed as #13 best player at the Adidas Top 150 Frosh/Soph Camp

The Adidas Camp had him listed as 6'6 and a PF

I've had my eye on him for a while now just waiting to see what pops up on Rivals, and so far nothing. But he's got a good build and seems to be a decent player. But I don't know much about him.

I'm sure we are at least evaluating him. Eric Bossi's eye's have been on him as a future star since he was a freshman. But from the Internet it appears he has only shown that potential on occasion. Playing with the Cowboy's and not KC Pump and Run or Spiece Mo-Kan he probably will not get as much Spring and Summer notice as several others from the KC metro area. That is unless he really breaks out. At this point I don't expect he will make the metro 1st team but second team is a possibility. That was good enough this year to send a couple of it's senior members to Missouri (Steve Moore) and oh, Wichita State (Garret Stutz).
