The stock of this 5-11 point guard at John A. Logan CC went way up due to his recent showings at JC jamborees. He has reported offers from UCLA and Nevada. Interest from the Shockers, Arizona, Baylor, DePaul, Kansas State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Southern Cal, Virginia and Wisconsin.

He played High School ball at Chicago Simeon. Ranked #15 by Jucojunction.

It certainly appears that the most likely scenario is that the last 'ship goes to a juco guard. We seem to be in on a lot of them.

Jones was lightly recruited out of Chicago Simeon, but grew a couple of inches (to 6'1") and then was impressive in the summer of 2009 heading into his sophomore year at Logan. He's now considered one of the best JUCO point guard prospects in the nation, with a strong body, good quickness, an ability to slash, an accurate outside shot and being a good defender.
