  • Jacoby Harrison- 2011

I waited to see if anyone would post this kid and no one else has so I will.

He is a 6'6" 245 lb. PF from Galena Park, Texas North Shore High School.
I'm guessing it is near Houston.

Other schools of interest include: Alabama, Colorado State, Harford with an offer, Houston, Lamar, Liberty, Marquette. Pennsylvania, Stanford, and Tulsa.

Harrison is a beast in the paint. He moves quickly and uses his size and skills to make people look sil in the paint. High Mid Major to Major prospect. Needs to grow or add outside shot to compete at next level.

I've had him a few days in the 2011 recruits without public acknowledgement section of the summary since it also include those just receiving letters. If anybody gets info that our recruitment is more serious, let me know.

Years ago on a small airline (Piedmont) and a smaller twin turbo the flight attendant asked the passengers what their weights were and then made appropriate seating assignments to balance the CG. I was nervous but also grateful SOMEONE cared enough to do this.

Reminds me of the airplane scene in Police Academy 5 when House switches sides and the plane tilts.

I was ona flight to Houston from Wichita where they decided to leave 30 pieces of luggage behind instead of asking four passengers to deplane. I've also experienced re-arrangement for load balance when flying to/from Great Bend.

Once my flight to Great Bend from KCwas cancelled, so they diverted the flight to Garden City to drop me off at Great Bend. All airport staff went home when the original flight was cancelled. We arrived at 12:30 in the morning in 3 inches of snow only to find a locked down airport. Wierd.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Mark Mangino could really stand to loose some weight.

                              No surprise

He certainly isn't the only one who will be doing it, trop. As I've said before -- and Yogi Berra might have said if he had followed college recruiting -- verbal commitments are often not worth the paper they're printed on.
