I don't believe WSU offered the two that committed to Creighton. However Johnson could be the first. He is there this weekend and they certainly have a need for somebody like Johnson. Our recruits in Texas appear to like Creighton's new assistant from SMU, Steve LutzOriginally posted by wu_shizzle
Auburn still hasn't offered and therefore have fallen off some in the race for Johnson. Giving him the most attention now are Creighton, WSU and Pepperdine. South Alabama has also become involved.

Strange as it sounds, I almost think it helps both of us to be recruiting Texas at the same time. When going into new areas, there is always a sell cycle which includes informing high school/AAU coaches and recruits about our conference. The fact that we have at least two schools (and perhaps Bradley as well as I've seen them associated with some kids) discussing the MVC in basketball circles hopefully increases our exposure and helps with getting verbals in the future.Comment
