At this time, WSU is looking for more experience at the PG through the Juco ranks as it's first choice. I don't see Cooper as a freshman PG who can come right in, take over that position, and LEAD a solid Shocker team with 4 seniors next year.
That being said, I do think he's a solid player that would prosper with upperclassman PG guidance.Comment

Cooper went to Utah State. Transfering after one year. It appears he will play next year at a Texas JC but it isn't finalized.
He didn't feel like he fit at Utah State.
A note to Perry Ellis, Buddy Hield and Gavin Turman: You are very familar with WSU and this will allow you to be 100% sure if being a Shocker is the right choice. So many players transfer because they made the wrong choice. I hope all of you make the right one.In the fast laneComment
