Leon Cooper could jump over Wessel's head. Where are you WSU?

            Apples and oranges.

EW is 2011 class, 6'5", projected at SF, PG, or SG.

LC is 2010 class, 6'2", PG.

At this time, WSU is looking for more experience at the PG through the Juco ranks as it's first choice. I don't see Cooper as a freshman PG who can come right in, take over that position, and LEAD a solid Shocker team with 4 seniors next year.

That being said, I do think he's a solid player that would prosper with upperclassman PG guidance.

With Carter out of the picture, does Cooper become a prime option for us given what appears to be pretty big upside?

I'd forgotten about Cooper. Never did make it out to watch them play but I've heard good things.

Cooper went to Utah State. Transfering after one year. It appears he will play next year at a Texas JC but it isn't finalized.

He didn't feel like he fit at Utah State.

A note to Perry Ellis, Buddy Hield and Gavin Turman: You are very familar with WSU and this will allow you to be 100% sure if being a Shocker is the right choice. So many players transfer because they made the wrong choice. I hope all of you make the right one.

I'm assuming he was diagnosed with a lifelong case of notamormon.

As expected, Leon is at Howard JC in Big Spring, Texas.

Did he redshirt his freshman year at USU trop?

I wonder if he'll graduate after 11-12 and have 3 years remaining or just 2?

Thanks! So he could play one year, and since he was a qualifier anyway, wouldn't have to graduate to have 3 years immediately left.

The Shocker staff considered him but Leon is a pure shooting guard. Our need at the time was a point guard.
