Does Leon have a connection with Frank Rutherford, the former Olympic triple jumper from the Bahamas? For years he's helped many Bahamians achieve a college education through athletics.

Frank is based in Texas but wondering if he is now aware of Sunrise.

What does being a foreigner have to do with KSHSAA anyway?

                  1. Stats don't mean too much, oftentimes.
                  2. Foreign students are transfers.

                          Quoting the article:

Sunrise suffered their only loss (so far) at the Florida tournament, falling 51-36 to Providence, ranked 3rd in ALL OF FLORIDA and led by Brandon Knight (headed to Kentucky) and Patric Young (headed to Florida).

I'd say it's a fair bet Mr. Cooper ends up with a Division 1 scholarship offer or 2.

Leon is a great kid and athletically would stack up with anyone (DK, GB and KM) on this team. He can shoot it better IMHO than DW or KM, has good handles and court vision. His only knock is his weight and strength.
