Jonathan Holmes to Texas

Holmes has grown a little as of late and is listed at 6-7. A SF/Pf from Antonian Prep in San Antonio, TX. His biggest strength is getting to the rim but his outside game is coming along. No offers but interest from the Shockers, SMU Nebraska, North Texas, Indiana State, Wright State and USC Trojans. He averaged 19 ppg and 8 rebounds per game during his sophomore season. TexasHoops has him at #38.

SMU may have an advantage as he attended their elite camp and has been on campus two other times. However, he seems wide open at the present time.

Holmes is planning to visit WSU in the near future.

He now has offers from SMU, Middle Tennessee State and Weber State. He has been impressed with the interest shown by Nebraska, North Texas and Texas A&M. He plans to visit A&M soon.

He has some big numbers so far this season.

Depending on perimeter skills, and how good a player is, a combo forward would be a plus over another swingman.

Indiana State offers Holmes. He still plans to visit WSU in the near future. He also plans to visit Indiana State, Weber State and SMU.

No info on if he made it to Wichita but WSU, Colorado and Houston are new offers for Holmes. Nebraska and Texas Tech are showing increasing interest.
