WAS SOMEWHAT CLOSE TO LANDING:
Mike McCall 6-2 SG from Illinois
It's a little early to say the Trees are close to getting this good SG but they and Illinois State are said to be in the lead. I thought their efforts with McCall deserved being mentioned. If a bigger named school gives McCall a late solid offer they both may lose out however. Right now, it's looking good for one of these Valley schools. McCall has a thread on the recruiting board. He is ChicagoHoops' 6th ranked area player for the class of 2010.

Rivals 96th ranked player for 2011. There is some hope among SIU fans that Siakam may reclassify to 2010. If he does, it increases chances of Siakam staying in Carbondale as Illinois doesn't appear to be ready to offer. Siakam is out for the rest of this year with an injury.
4/11 update: Siakam has indeed reclassified to 2010. Florida, Marquette, Stanford are looking.
Update: Siakan to Vanderbilt
Kentari Nettles 6-9 C from Mobile, Alabama

Frazier has cut his list to SIU, Fordham, George Mason, Quinnipac, St. John's and Hofstra. Two strongest factors appear to be a desire to get out of New York and playing time. Coach Lowery just took a trip to N.Y. There is a rumor of a commit by Frazier to SIU.
