      Love it!

Hall and White will make great additions next year! Hamilton has shown great potential in limited minutes this year as well.

I am only able to find one game for Jake (34 points). Are you sure you are not mistakenly adding in last year's game against the same opponent whee he scored 40? That is mentioned in the article I found online.

Don't want to sound like KC here, but Jerome has a dunk and a layup and no defense in about 3 minutes in his career. Might I suggest tempering your enthusiasm just a tad on his upside?

I just discovered Chaska High School is a stones throw from Hazeltine Country Club....now I understand why we recruited this kid.

Along with Royal, Chaska's first game was last evening, unless all the schedules are incorrect.

While Jake had 34 in their first game Penn State bound teammate Ross Travis had 8. I thought for along time that we went after the wrong one on this team. Shows you what I know.

Points aren't everything. Maybe Travis is a good screener.

Doc how do you think Marshall and Jans would fare on that course?

Dr WU - Don't forget Jerome's awsome block on the inbounds play right after he entered the game. I'd say that counted for a at least a little D.

That being said, I agree that Jerome is not there yet and he seems to have a ways to go. He sure didn't need the late start due to injury. He does, however, have pretty big upside potential and crazy ups.

I will be surprised if Jerome gets more minutes than Jake White next year. From what I have seen of Jake, if he can defend a little, I think he will get plenty of minutes. He might be an instant offense type guy off the bench. .

I think we could see Hall paired with Stutz to start and then the post subs would be Jake paired with EO. Late in the game, it might be EO and Hall for D subs and White and Stutz for offense.

This year is looking pretty good but HCGM has already reloaded for next year. The good coaches rebuild after a big year; the great ones just reload and continually have big years!

Not sure about Coach Jans but HCGM is a 10.9 so I'd guess he would fare pretty well on most courses.

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of HCGM, but the only course he could be a 10.9 on is Siera hills. I have played with him 3 times. Although we had a great time, he spent more time in the weeds looking for balls than anything else.

In a scramble, he is a stitch. His "coach" side comes out when he barks out the lineup for each shot...pretty hilarious actually. But trust me, he is no 10.

Gregg would fight tooth and nail to break 100. Jans would sink a 40 foot downhill sliding putt for an 89.

There would be good stories on the 19th hole.

Not to worry. Enthusiasm tempered. Potential in limited minutes means the guy has played all of 7 minutes and he had a jaw dropping dunk!! No huge expectations, but with only 7 D1 minutes under his belt that is a nice start! I've never seen Jake White play, and I've only seen 30 minutes on Carl Hall. Given what we are losing, I am very pleased with what I know about the incoming power forwards. They could be boom or bust, but I do like what I have seen.

wufan, I will say this...Hall and White are MAKERS. Something we haven't recruited at the post for some time.

                              Coach likes makers.

                              So do I.

I like TAKERS as well, because they generally will feed it to the MAKERS to back up their MAKERS nickname.

Now I'm thirsty, so I think I will make me a Maker's Mark & Sprite. CHEERS!!!
