  • Jelon Kendrick

Kendrick, a 6'6 WF from Westlake, GA (although expected to transfer to another school next year) has a slew of offers and interest from a lot of schools, including Wichita State.

Kendrick plays for the Atlanta Celtics. Has range to deep 3 and can also play with his back to the basket, he lit it up at the KnoxVegas Heat Invitational.

Will more than likely end up a Top 30 player in the Class of 2010.

According to Scout he has 29 offers. They don't know who most of them are from. I guess Downtown has answered the question on who WSU has interest in on this year's Celtic's team.

Rivals has him ranked 11 overall and the number 2 SF in the class. Obviously, Jelan is considered a 5* at the moment.

I'm guessing they don't have the full list as they show offers from Clemson, FSU, G'Town, Kentucky, Tennessee and Xavier with interest from Cincy, Florida, Georgia, GT, LSU, Minnesota, St. Joes and Texas.

It would be nice to see WSU start popping up on some 5* lists. It's a step in the right direction.

Sounds like he played a little PG at the NBAPA Top 100

Apparently, he was one big pain in the buttocks.

It will be interesting to see where he goes or who'll have him.

Yes, that can be quite painful.

I sometimes wonder about Pastner's recruiting after being an assistant to Cal, but I doubt he takes kindly to players that don't think they have to be a student. Josh had already completed his BA by the first semester of his junior year and his masters by the end of his senior year as I remember it.

This article about his dad is flattering compared to a couple of things I've heard from people familiar with the Houston AAU scene. Regardless, it explains a little more about his situation.

There's a real stench in the Blue Grass State and it's not coming from the back end of horses.
