He plays in Class A which I believe is one of small schools. The only other school listed in the link by BA was Western State which from what I can tell is a D2 school in Gunnison, CO. That always makes me pause a moment.

I don't expect any more new names in the high school class of '09 to be highly recruited. Daruis probably had our attention sometime ago since there are new dead periods this year that discourage finding anybody this late. What we will probably hear from now on, if anything are a few who missed being reported because of a low level of recruitment. Or, perhaps somebody that wasn't recruited highly because of grades that turned that issue around.

Darius is one of many small town Oklahoma players we looked at during the past two years. If I remember correctly three have gone or commited to good D-1 schools. They must play some pretty good ball in those little towns.

TulsaWorld story seems to have been published april 12th listing WSU.

The stillwater paper article seems to have been published on april 9th.

Is Western Oklahoma state a JUCO?

Can he go ahead and sign with a division I school?

JUCO. Same league as Redlands. I beleive they finished 24-6 last year.

Then being juco or any thing other then D-1, yes he could still sign a D-1 LOI.

One point guard who is getting late attention is Vicent Williams from South Dade County Florida. He just received a qualifying SAT. Georgia is now on him. Perhaps us also?
