If he has already burnt 2 of his 5 years, he'll go juco, then come out of there with 2 more years to go. He can't sit out a transfer year unless he is willing to actually play only 3 of 5.

That would be my hope that he wouldn't mind giving up a year for a secure scholarship at a high D-1 school like WSU. If he goes juco. he has no promise that he would get an offer from a high D-1 school. He could also get hurt.

It would also give him a year to work out with the team and learn the system. Then there is the Murry factor. Do they know each other or better are they friends? HCGM would have to sell him on the benefits.
