          seriously

Come on guys, this is Gregg's third year as our head coach. We should all be able to spell it properly by now. 8)
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

From Hutch JC, we know the Shockers are interested in Jawanza Poland, 2011 from Wichita. He is on the 2011 Summary in the Prospects and Other section. Robert Goff is another name now at Hutch that we have discussed. I believe he is on the 2010 summary, but he could be a 2011 recruit as he might sit out this season due to transfer. I really doubt if there is much mutual interest at this point in Goff and the Shockers. Could be others but those are the players on the board.

Isn't Poland a 2010 prospect as he played at Cowley last year

Yes he did but some transfers to Hutch from there are having to sit for a year. I believe Poland is one of them but I'll have to check it out. I believe I took the 2011 from his facebook profile.

Giving Hutch CC a little more thought, Adonis Gantt and Garrius Holloman will also be playing their sophomore season there this year. We had some interest in both when they were seniors in Wichita. More interest in Holloman.

I believe Dominic Rutledge from N.J. will be there for his sophomore year. He was a St. Joe commit before having to go JC.

Back to Akepejiori, I wish Paul S. would make a call to Sunrise's coach and let us know if an offer was made.

A former WSU coach and current WSU coach were watching Raphael at the same place at the same time this past weekend. Have pretty good insight the former WSU coach offered him.

Were the two coaches sitting side by side?

                            Just wondering.

That's interesting, as I heard that the former WSU coach said he probably wasn't good enough for the Big 12......he the player not he the coach. :D

The coaches were not together......I don't know, but I doubt that Gregg was thrilled if he heard about the visit....and I am fairly certain that he did.

Raphael's press this summer came from the Hoop Group Elite Camp. He did well but it is a camp that does not draw big name recruits. Most are from he East. Raphael did well but another big man at the camp who received more raves has Siena, Drexel and VCU as his final three.

Oklahoma State has been a named school interested in Raphael so it's not surprising MT took a look. But perhaps neither is MT's alleged comment that Doc heard.

I'm not putting either Raphael or WSU down. But they are a good match for each other based on perceived level of ability and realistic recruiting chances for 2010 at this late stage of the game.
