  • Malcom Rhett

I did a search and hopefully did so correctly as I did not find anything previously submitted on Malcom.

    Malcom Rhett

Malcom is a 6'6 junior forward who averaged 8 points and 6 rebounds per game during his sophomore season. Malcom is the son of former University of South Carolina star Joe Rhett. He is receiving interests from several colleges and universities including Western Carolina, Wofford, Wichita State and the College of Charleston.

Rhett goes for 16 pts / 12 reb in his first game in the tournament.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

I can't find any info on Rhett signing with Tennesse State. I bring this up since we had an assistant at the Chick-Fil-A-Classic a few days ago where Rhett participated. Most of the teams were from the Carolinas, Georgia and Virginia. I didn't see any other names of known WSU prospects.

He had 16 and 11 against us this year. Also 3 blocks, 1 assist, 1 steal, 3 turnovers, and 4 fouls. Looks like he fouled out 7 times this year and got close a bunch of other times. Scored 20 in a couple games and had 19 rebounds vs. Belmont.
There are nights when I think that Sal Paradise was right.

Not too often a potential Shocker gets to play a game in front of Shocker fans in Koch Arena. I guess if we land this one we can cut the CBE a little slack for giving us that dud of a home game.
